2023 Summer Training

The Cross Country program at Bishop Amat has a long history of success.  The Boys’ team won its first CIF championship in 1973, with another CIF title in 2014.  In 2014 they also won the California State Championship.

The Amat Girls’ Cross Country team won the CIF championship in 1992, 1994, and 2014, and won the California State Championship in 2015.

There have been many outstanding Amat runners that excelled while competing for the school, many of whom continued their competitive running in college and beyond.

Every cross country runner at Bishop Amat develops important qualities while on the team: commitment, confidence, discipline, and perseverance.  Running cross country is a positive component and highlight of the overall high school experience at Bishop Amat.
