Amat Athletics thrives on its rich heritage of supporting student-athletes academically and athletically.
Our high academic standards and competitiveness of our athletic programs ensure that many of our student-athletes receive college scholarships at prestigious colleges such as Duke, Boston College, Notre Dame, Cornell, Brown, USC, Stanford, Berkeley, and UCLA. Approximately 97% of our student body moves on to college.
Two hundred and seventy four [274] student-athletes participated in fall sports 2025. Girls Cross Country won the Del Rey League Championship and Football renewed their rightful place in the CIF playoffs.
Two hundred and eighty seven [287] student-athletes are competing in winter sports 2025-2026. Our Girls Soccer team won the Del Rey League Championship and our Boys and Girls Wrestling teams won the Mission and Almont League Championships respectively. Our Boys Soccer won their second consecutive CIF Division 1 Championship advancing to State Regionals!
Three hundred and forty seven [347] student-athletes are participating in spring sports 2026.
CIF-SS Academic Team Awards 2025-2026 have been posted and I am pleased to announce the list of varsity teams that have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A special congratulations to our STUNT team who was named CIF Academic Team Champion! All of our student-athletes continue to perform in the classroom. Recognition for our CIF Academic Male and Female Athlete of the Year will be honored at the Academic Awards assemblies in May.

League Information
Bishop Amat competes as a member of the California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section (CIF-SS), the state governing body for interscholastic athletics and activities. Membership in the CIF-SS allows Amat teams to compete in league, sectional and state championships.
Currently, Amat competes in Division 2 in the Mission League for Football. Wrestling also competes in the Mission League.
Baseball, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field, Swimming and Girls' Volleyball compete in the Del Rey league which is part of the Camino Del Rey Association. Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Boys' Volleyball are members of the Camino Real league.
Girls Wrestling and Stunt compete in the Almont league.
