Junior Lancer Choir

The Junior Lancer Choir is an outreach program that was established in 2009 that is open to elementary and middle school music students grades 3rd - 8th. This ensemble is exposed to the fundamentals of music and singing. They perform at the annual Christmas and Lancer Pops Concerts in collaboration with the high school choral groups. During the past two years they have also performed the Star-Spangled Banner at Youth Spirit Night and have been cast members of our Spring Musical. Over the years this program has grown to include students from over twelve different local schools. Students from the Bishop Amat choral program serve as mentors and are an integral part of the success of the program.

We are so excited to offer this FREE program to all students grades 3rd-8th. The choir is directed by Ms. Micaela Macaraeg, an Amat alumni and recent graduate of the University of Redlands. 

This semester, the Junior Lancer Choir will be performing at the Youth Spirit Night Football Game on Friday, September 20th and at our Music Department Christmas Concerts on December 12th and 13th. Please join us for this amazing opportunity!
