Junior Lancer Choir
The Junior Lancer Choir is an outreach program that was established in 2009 that is open to elementary and middle school music students. This group learns the fundamentals of music and singing. They perform at the annual Christmas and Lancer Pops Concerts in collaboration with the high school choral groups. Over the years this program has grown to include students from over twelve different local schools. Students from the Bishop Amat choral program serve as mentors and are an integral part of the success of the program.
We are so excited to offer this FREE program to all students grades 3rd-8th. The JLC program will be run by Ms. Micaela Macaraeg, an Amat alumna of the class of 2018. This semester, the Junior Lancer Choir will be performing as part of the ensemble in the Spring Musical, “Seussical.” Please join us for this amazing opportunity!
