Bishop Amat's Visual and Performing Arts Program

Welcome to Bishop Amat High School's Arts program! Our exceptional Visual and Performing Arts Programs are a testament to our commitment to nurturing creativity and excellence. Central to our offerings is the state-of-the-art Monsignor Carroll Performing Arts Center. This cutting-edge venue facilitates the growth of our diverse arts programs, including our Choral Programs, Marching Band and Color Guard, Dance Teams, Theatre Program, and Visual Arts. The Performing Arts Center provides a stunning stage for student productions, ample space for multiple groups to practice simultaneously, and an auditorium for school assemblies, class Masses, and other activities. It also fosters community engagement by allowing local Catholic elementary schools and parishes to stage their productions in our Performing Arts Center.

At Bishop Amat, we recognize the importance of extracurricular activities in high school as an integral part of our students' educational development. Our wide variety of courses within the Visual and Performing Arts Department includes Digital Art & Design, Digital Photography, Studio Arts, Technical Theater & Design, Dance Production, and more, with many courses offered at an advanced level. These programs not only attract talented students but also enrich both our school and the surrounding community. We are proud to offer a comprehensive arts education that fosters creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
