The Clinic costs $75 with lunch included. Schools will be invoiced for the cost of their coaches during the week following the Clinic. Note that this is a procedural change. Schools are not to send a check beforehand to cover the cost of their coaches nor give it to a coach to pay on the day of the Clinic. You will, however, pre-register your coaches for the Clinic. No money and/or checks will be received from the coaches on the day of the Clinic. Money will only exchange hands after an e-mail is sent to each principal confirming the attendance of their coaches on the day of the Clinic, followed-up by an invoice for payment for these coaches. If your high school does not cover the cost of your coaches for attendance at this Clinic, then you must make your own arrangements for reimbursement for the cost of their participation.
Please emphasize with your coaches that in order to satisfy the CIF Coaches Education requirement and the Safe Environment training, coaches must remain for the entire Clinic. At the end of the day, coaches complete an exit form. It’s the completion of this form that validates their full participation in the Clinic and qualifies them to receive Certification. This Certificate will be sent to the principals for dissemination to their coaches within a few days after the Clinic. This Certificate also needs to be placed in their personnel file. Also, please tell the coaches to arrive at the Clinic in sufficient time to sign-in and be seated at the time the Clinic is scheduled to begin, i.e., 11:00 a.m. The Clinic will start and end on time!
