The Bishop Amat experience is a journey rooted in faith, tradition, excellence, and community. Every Lancer has a story — a journey shaped by meaningful experiences, lifelong friendships, and the values learned at Bishop Amat High School. Our alumni carry forward a spirit of service, leadership, and pride, making an impact in their communities while continuing the legacy of what it means to be a Lancer.
Your Story, Our Legacy
Every Lancer has a story, and we want to hear yours. With more than 21,000 living alumni, we know it would take years to sit down with each of you individually. As we prepare to celebrate Bishop Amat High School’s 70th Anniversary beginning in August 2027, we are launching a special project to preserve the stories and experiences of our alumni in your own words.
These memories will be compiled into a commemorative book celebrating the lasting impact Bishop Amat has had on the lives of our alumni and the community we have built together. Every year that passes without capturing these stories is an opportunity lost, and we are excited to begin preserving them now for future generations of Lancers.

How to share your story
Alumni will be receiving a postcard and email from PCI with more information on how to share their story. Stories will be collected via a phone call with a trained member of the PCI team.

PCI Partnership
With our limited resources, we’d never be able to tackle a project like this. By partnering with PCI, we’re able to access their trained staff of real, live human beings who are excited to listen to what you have to share. PCI will also help collect and assemble the stories into the 70th Anniversary book that we can share with all Lancers. Please note, we have only shared your contact information with PCI in conjunction with this project. We have NOT sold your contact information, or otherwise used it for outside marketing purposes.
Have You Moved?
As part of this project, we are also taking this opportunity to help make it easier for you to stay connected to Bishop Amat. PCI will help us collect updated contact information from those of you who may have moved and inadvertently lost touch with your alma mater.
Do I Have to Buy Something?
No. This project is being done at NO COST to Bishop Amat High School. The project is completely funded by the alumni who choose to purchase the 70th Anniversary book that will be produced at the end of the project. Various book packages will be offered. PCI will also offer you the option to purchase other Bishop Amat branded merchandise such as a blanket and pullover. You are welcome to purchase these items, but you are not required to do so to participate in the project or order the 70th Anniversary book. Again, we’d never be able to embark on a project like this without the support of our amazing alumni and the partnership with PCI. We sincerely thank every person that participates and chooses to purchase the book.
What’s Next?
Soon you will be receiving email and postcard communications from the PCI team with instructions on how to participate. We’d like to invite you to share one of your stories with us and take part in this first of its kind project to honor the experiences and voices of our alumni. The PCI team will collect stories until November 20, 2026. After that, they will enter a post-production phase editing the data. We hope to have the book distributed in late May 2027, just in time before our we begin our celebration.
