Dear Alumni, Families, and Friends of Bishop Amat,

As both an alum and the new Director of Development and Alumni Relations, I write to you not only with deep gratitude, but with a heart full of Amat pride. Bishop Amat has always held a very special place in my life. It is where I grew—academically, spiritually, and personally—and where I found a community that believed in me, challenged me, and supported me every step of the way.

My journey with Amat didn’t end at graduation. I’ve had the honor of returning to teach, walking the same hallways I once did as a student, now witnessing the incredible work being done by our faculty, staff, counselors, and coaches. What’s so unique about Amat is that it isn’t just a school—it’s a family. And once you’re part of that family, you’re always part of it.

This community has not only shaped my life, but the lives of many in my own family—now including my nephew—and countless friends. I’ve seen firsthand the way Amat uplifts, guides, and prepares students for the future. It is a place filled with tradition, faith, and excellence—a place that continues to make a meaningful difference.

As I take on this new role, my hope is to help strengthen the bond we all share with Amat. I want to create more opportunities for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate all that this community has given us. I also hope to help ensure that the same opportunities we received continue to be available for generations to come.

It’s no secret that a Bishop Amat education is made possible not just by tuition, but by the generosity of those who believe in our mission. Many of our students rely on financial assistance to walk through our doors. And it’s because of those who continue to give—of their time, their resources, and their support—that we are able to provide the kind of education that changes lives.

If your experience at Amat was anything like mine—transformative, uplifting, unforgettable—then I invite you to stay connected. Let’s celebrate what we’ve been part of. Let’s share that with others. And let’s continue building a future that reflects the values, heart, and tradition that make Bishop Amat so extraordinary.

Steadfast, Loyal and True,
