As a faith-filled Catholic school, Bishop Amat strives to form disciples who are committed to Christian truth. Bishop Amat's Campus Ministry Program has three missions:

• To foster a faith community among the students, faculty, and staff regardless of religious affiliation.
• To foster and encourage a personal relationship with Christ that moves them to embrace the commitment to love, serve, and proclaim the Good News.
• To support and encourage the pastoral, spiritual, and moral development of the Amat family.

Through Campus Ministry, students can learn daily living in a faith community and develop a faith commitment and a desire to serve others as they continue Jesus' mission and message. Campus Ministry offers the following services to achieve these goals.

Each year students will complete at least 20 hours of Christian Service.  In order to receive credit for the project, students must fulfill all the requirements, responsibilities, and commitments of a volunteer to the satisfaction of their supervisor/teacher.  Students may count service done over the previous summer, as long as verification can be obtained.  An organization or service activity that doesn't fit any of the three categories described below must be approved by the Christian Service Moderator or Campus Minister BEFORE students may complete their service.  

Our goal is to provide resources for families, so that our students may connect their faith formation experiences at school with their home life. Each grading period, students will have a Family Ministry Assignment in their Theology Classes.  In addition to these assignments we will also provide parents with faith formation resources, online classes and family faith events at the school.
