It's that time of year again... the Modern Earth Club is having their annual candy-cane gram today during lunch. 100% of the money will be donated to Beagles & Buddies, a no kill shelter that provides a safe home for dogs and cats.  Find our table during lunch by the Carroll Center!!!  You go, Glen Coco!

 

ATTENTION SENIORS:  We currently have 58 students attending our January Kairos.  We are opening it up to 12 more Seniors. First come, first serve!

 

For those who signed up for the January Kairos or think you signed up for January Kairos, please stop by The Lighthouse or Campus Ministry Office to see if your name is on the list posted on our doors!  IF you think your name should be on the list, we have NOT received your paperwork. IF your name is on the list and you are not able to make it, please let us know so we can open up your spot.  Talk to Mr. De Vera or Ms. Pinel with any questions.

 

On Thursday, we will be celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.  We will also have a VOCATION FAIR during LUNCH at The Lighthouse.  Come by if you would like to find out more about what missionaries, sisters, brothers, or priests do.  They are looking forward to meeting you and speaking with you.

 

Attention KAIROS 68!  We will be having our reunion on Friday during lunch in the Lighthouse.

 

Attention Juniors and Seniors who applied for NHS:  The Christian Service project due date for this semester has been extended until tomorrow. All current members MUST participate.  Please pick up an information sheet from Mrs. Hatfield TODAY.

 

There will be a boys' tennis meeting for all NEW  student-athletes interested in participating in tennis this spring.  The meeting will be in the Seminar room of the Carroll Center today, December 6th, at 3 pm.  If you attended yesterday's varsity tennis returners meeting, you do not have to attend today's meeting.

 

Girls’ basketball sweeps Garfield HS in home opener:  Frosh wins 57- 8, JV wins 65- 22, Varsity wins 43- 22.

 

The Band Christmas Concert is this Saturday! Please find any band kid to find out how to purchase tickets! Tickets are as low as $5. Hurry and get them now before they sell out!

 

The Marching Band will be having an informational meeting for next year this Thursday in the PAB from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM. If you even have the slightest interest in joining, please stop by! We will be having pizza as we discuss our ventures for next year such as Disneyland, LA County Fair, National Level Competitions, and more! This Friday, the Culture of Life Club will be taking a tour and delivering the $400 we made from our cupcake sale to our local La Puente Pregnancy Help Center.

Congratulations to the JV girls basketball team for taking 2nd place in the Cardinal Classic!

Frosh, JV, and Varsity girls basketball teams play today against Garfield High school for their home opener of the season.

Attention Sophomores going to CARITAS:  You need to turn in both your Permission and waiver forms to Mr. Kasilag as soon as possible or you will not be allowed to join this retreat.  You need to bring your own snacks and lunch.  Also, bring a warm jacket - as some of you will be working in a cold section.  Remember to check in by 7:50 a.m. in the library.

 

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team which won the Morro Bay Invitational Tournament.  Jarren Ford was named MVP,  Gjerard Wilson and Hunter Benson were named All Tournament players.

 

Attention Strings N Knots members: our next meeting is today after school in room 404. The meeting will begin at about 3:05. New members are always welcomed.
