ADMISSIONS /IMPORTANT DATES

 

November 21, 2009 Open House  9 a.m.

9 a.m. - General Session in the Carroll Activity Center followed by campus tours

 

January 9, 2010 Test Preparation Seminar - 9 a.m.

Test taking techniques and sample problems will be covered.

Fee: $25

 

January 12, 2010 Open House 7 p.m.

General Session in the Carroll Activity Center followed by campus tours

 

January 22, 2010 Application and Entrance Exam Fee Deadline.

Applications received after this date will incur a $20 late charge.

 

January 30, 2010 Entrance Exam - 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

All testing materials will be provided.

 

February 20, 2010 Alternate Test Date - 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

All testing materials will be provided.

 

March 5, 2010 Test results and letters of admission status mailed.

 

March 13 , 2010 Registration of accepted students. (By invitation only)

 

Bishop Amat will host  one Open House sessions at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009 for all parents and students interested in obtaining information about the school and the

programs that we offer. These sessions will include speakers, performances by extra-curricular

activity groups, information tables and tours of the campus.

 

Applications are available from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the school’s main office. The completed application and testing fee must be submitted by Friday, January 22, 2010.

 

The Request For Student Records Form, included in the application package, gives Bishop

Amat High School permission to request transcripts and conduct records from the student’s

elementary or junior high school. This form must be returned with the application.

 

The entrance test will be given on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Bishop Amat High School.

The test fee is $60. This is a non-refundable fee. Applications received after Friday, January 22,

2010 will incur a $20 late fee charge.

 

All student materials for the exam will be provided including pencils.

 

Test results and letters of admission status will be mailed on Friday, March 5, 2010.

Registration of accepted students will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 8 a.m. to

1 p.m. (By invitation only.) A non-refundable registration fee is due and payable at this time.

The 2010-2011 tuition schedule will be mailed with acceptance packages. Parents agree to

comply with all established tuition policies. Several payment plans are available.

 

Summer school will be held June 16 through July 21, 2010. Students achieving low scores

on the entrance exam may be required to attend summer school as a condition of admission

in September. Some summer school courses and athletic preparation programs will also be

available to incoming students.
